The publication explores the relation among gender, water and sanitation which is illustrated in its introduction. It tackles issues of concern to women and men such as equitable access to water supply, access to sanitation, participation and equity, pricing and privatization and water resources and conflict. The last part of the publication is dedicated to recommendations for different parties: national governments, regional/ local governments, communities and civil society and donors and international organizations.
